Professionalism in the Avalanche Industry.

The Professionalism in the Avalanche Industry online course educates members and future members on the professionalism standards of the CAA. For those applying for membership, this course allows individuals to fulfill the professionalism competency requirements needed to be a member of the CAA.

This course is a resource tool as much as it is a prerequisite for membership with the CAA. Beyond containing important information about being a member of the CAA, it addresses ethical practice, career planning, and scope of practice standards that are crucial to a successful career path in the Canadian avalanche industry.

Contact Membership services for more info: membership@avalancheassociation.ca

As of August 25, 2025, this course has officially replaced Introduction to Professionalism. If you have taken Introduction to Professionalism in order to apply for membership, this course certificate may only be used for membership applications until November 1,2025.
